Hello and welcome, i'm Kat' a 26 year old from 'sunny Worthing'. I have no idea what i want this space to be yet. It may be just somewhere i come to vent my frustrations at daily life, hopefully will be somewhere i bounce my creative writing ideas around or could be i give my opinions on god knows what.
I have a BA in Photography, but for the past 3 years have been working for a well known high street store, lets just say there known for there tv adverts and last Christmas they had a little help from Magic and Sparkle. I always have so many ideas popping in and out of my head so last year i tried my hand at a creative writing course, i didn't take much from it, but that doesn't stop me from getting the notepad out every now and then.
Since i was 9 i have had Epilepsy and no that is not 'the thing with the flashing lights' which i so often get asked! There are many different types of epilepsy, when i was younger i was diagnosed with J.M.E juvenile mycologic epilepsy, i had no seizures i would just black out for a moment then go about my business, 14 i started having full blown seizures which would co-inside with my periods, so they were linked with hormones they think. Luckily i have been seizure free since i was 18, i still have to take medication twice a day and probably will do for the rest of my life. I am fortunate enough that i can now drive after being a year seizure free and have been driving since 2010:) As i said there are many types of epilepsy so get yourself educated so your not that numpty that says to someone 'is that the thing with flashing lights' cause thats just the tip of the iceberg for a lot of people.
I feel this has been a very lengthly introduction into what should be a very short section, but what can i say, i have a lot to well..say!
